1. What we collect
When you request a quote, checkout, or use a Tejas Technology product, we collect what you give us directly: name, email, phone number, organisation name, and the operational data you enter into the product itself (savings/loan records, beneficiary data, billing entries, etc., depending on which product you use).
Specifically, for the Sakhi MIS (SHG/VO/CLF) and Billing products: for SHG members we store name, role, phone number and only the last 4 digits of an Aadhaar number if your group chooses to enter them — we never ask for or store a full Aadhaar number. In Billing, the shop stores its own customers' names and phone numbers and (optionally) GSTIN and address so it can raise bills. If you use the meeting-recording feature, the audio you upload is used only to produce the written minutes and is deleted as soon as that is done; the text minutes are kept in your account.
2. How we use it
- To set up and run your account/subscription
- To send login credentials, invoices and receipts
- To respond to support requests and quote enquiries
- To process payment through our payment gateway (Cashfree)
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. It's shared only with the service providers needed to run the product, and only for that purpose:
- Cashfree — payment details, to process your subscription payment.
- Groq (AI service) — only if you use an AI feature: the text of a meeting recording (audio is sent for transcription), text read from an uploaded meeting photo/PDF, or a product name when you ask for a GST/HSN suggestion. AI output can be wrong — always check it (and confirm tax rates with your CA) before relying on it.
- Email delivery provider — to send login codes, credentials, receipts and reset links.
Your operational data (SHG records, beneficiary data, billing entries) is not shared with other customers. When you tap a WhatsApp button, the message is opened in your own WhatsApp for you to send — we do not send WhatsApp messages on your behalf.
If a Sakhi MIS group has enabled member view-only login, any member of that group who signs in with her registered phone number and the last 4 Aadhaar digits can see that group's records (not edit them), for transparency within the group.
Oversight logins (Sakhi MIS): a block, district or state office (for example a mission or department officer) can be given a separate view-only login for the groups in its own area. Such a login can see group-level information (members, savings, loans, products and stock) but cannot change or delete anything. Members' phone numbers are hidden by default; when an officer chooses to reveal one, that action is recorded. Each such login is created by Tejas Technology on the request of the concerned office and can be given an end date or switched off at any time.
Your customers' data: when a shop or SHG enters its own customers' or members' details, that shop/SHG decides what to collect and why, and is responsible for having the right to do so (including permission before sending them marketing messages); Tejas Technology only stores and processes that data on its behalf.
4. Where it's stored
Client data is stored on servers located in India, hosted with Hostinger and managed by us. Providers we use are listed in Annex A of our Terms.
5. How long we keep it
While your subscription is active, we keep your data so you can use the product. When it ends for any reason (expiry, non-renewal, non-payment or cancellation), login is switched off and your data is kept for 30 days so that renewing restores everything; during that time you can ask us by email for an export. After 30 days the account and data may be permanently removed, after we tell you by email. Copies in our routine backups are overwritten within 8 weeks. Records we must keep by law (for example payment and invoice records) are kept for the period the law requires. Please download your own backup before your subscription ends. See clause 12 of our Terms.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or request deletion at any time — write to tejastechnology9@gmail.com.
You can also withdraw your consent, or raise a complaint about how your data is handled, by writing to the same address — we aim to reply within 48 hours and to resolve complaints promptly. Grievance Officer: Abhishek Agrawal, grievance@tejastech.services. Withdrawing consent means we can no longer provide the service, since it depends on the data.
7. Cookies & analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, which sets cookies in your browser for that purpose. We don't use any other tracking or advertising cookies, and this analytics data is not sold or shared with anyone beyond Google Analytics itself.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as products evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
