Udhaar (credit) tracking and WhatsApp reminders in Tejas Khata Book billing software
Stop losing track of who owes you money. Tejas Khata Book, our billing software, keeps every customer’s udhaar, part payments and balance in one place, and lets you send a polite WhatsApp reminder in one tap, again and again if needed.
How it works
- Make a bill and choose credit / udhaar. The due amount is saved against the customer.
- When they pay something, record the part payment. The balance updates.
- Open the due list, tap Remind, edit the message if you like, and send it from your own WhatsApp.
- Show the UPI QR on the bill or send the link so they can pay you directly.
Features that help you recover money
- Due list by customer with oldest dues first
- Repeat reminders with your own message wording
- Bulk reminder queue, one chat per tap
- Returns adjust the due first before any refund
- Customer advances and loyalty points
- Everything in Indian Standard Time
Frequently asked questions
What is udhaar tracking?
Udhaar means sale on credit. Udhaar tracking is keeping a record of what each customer owes, the payments received and the balance, instead of a paper khata. In Tejas Khata Book it is a feature of the billing software, not a separate app.
How do reminders work?
From the due list you tap a customer and a WhatsApp chat opens with a ready message (amount due, shop name, UPI link/QR). You can edit the message and send it again later, as many times as you want. You press send; the app does not send automatically.
Can I send reminders to everyone with a due?
Yes, as a queue: tap Next and one customer chat opens at a time. This keeps messages personal and within WhatsApp’s rules for normal users.
Does it collect the payment automatically?
No. The UPI QR sends money directly to your UPI ID. Mark the bill as paid in the app when you receive it.
Is it free to try?
Yes, 7 days free. After that ₹300/month or ₹3,000/year (festival offer till 15 Nov; regular ₹500/₹5,000).
